Her Story
Nadine Schoen is seeking a second term as your District 4 representative on the Wright County Board of Commissioners. As one of the fastest growing areas in the state, our district faces unique challenges — challenges Nadine has spent the last 15-and-a-half years addressing to achieve positive outcomes both at the city and county levels.
Her primary focus remains steadfast — transportation infrastructure, economic development, and fiscal responsibility. One of her core strengths is building and maintaining vital connections with lawmakers in St. Paul and Washington D.C. These relationships have allowed her to secure millions of dollars in funding for Wright County.
Her work with organizations like the I-94 Coalition, the Highway 55 Corridor Coalition, the MnDOT Region 7W Transportation Board, and the Trailblazer Transit Joint Powers Board have helped ensure that the needs of Wright County drivers are met today and well into the future.
As a business owner and lifelong resident of Wright County, Nadine and her husband raised their family in St. Michael and remain deeply active in community advocacy. Service is a family tradition — two generations of her family have served as volunteer firefighters. As a mother of adult children, she is keenly aware of the financial struggles families face today and has been diligent in working to lower the tax impact on residents, seeking countywide efficiencies and preventing governmental overgrowth.
